Rush Limbaugh…LMAO!
Good for him that he wants to buy the Rams and good for the free market for refusing him. I’m not saying that he is racist because I don’t know. BUT, he has made some pretty racially insensitive and race bating type comments. So for all the good people a list of some of his quotes…
P.S….he also likes to call President the “Magic Negro”
1. I mean, let’s face it, we didn’t have slavery in this country for over 100 years because it was a bad thing. Quite the opposite: slavery built the South. I’m not saying we should bring it back; I’m just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark. [snopes.com says they can’t find a reference for this one]
2. You know who deserves a posthumous Medal of Honor? James Earl Ray [the confessed assassin of Martin Luther King]. We miss you, James. Godspeed. [snopes.com says they can’t find a reference for this one]
3. Have you ever noticed how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?
4. Right. So you go into Darfur and you go into South Africa, you get rid of the white government there. You put sanctions on them. You stand behind Nelson Mandela — who was bankrolled by communists for a time, had the support of certain communist leaders. You go to Ethiopia. You do the same thing.
5. Look, let me put it to you this way: the NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it.
6. The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies.
7. They’re 12 percent of the population. Who the hell cares?
8. Take that bone out of your nose and call me back(to an African American female caller).
9. I think the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. They’re interested in black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well. I think there’s a little hope invested in McNabb and he got a lot of credit for the performance of his team that he really didn’t deserve.

This is one nasty dunk below. Now, I fell bad because the defender couldn’t do anything about it. But, watch the guy who gets dunked on after the dunk get clowned by someone on the other team…

“It was I who shot myself, but I didn’t shoot me in the knee. It was I who shot myself, but I didn’t shoot me in the knee…” Come on, everybody!
I hope Plax doesn’t defend himself in the trial…just replace all the “sheriffs” with “me” and the “deputy” with “knee”.

Tom Brady is about to be out for the year..torn ACL. Everyone in New England just let out a Darth Vadar yell from Episode 3. But, it was bound to happen…the NFL is “Not For Long” for a reason. Everyone gets hurt and it just is a matter of when. Let’s see what happens to the Pats with Matt Cassell starting for 15 games.
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Tom Brady limped off the field under the worried stares of Patriots fans. The thing they feared most finally happened – losing the NFL’s reigning MVP to injury.
And the team they love more than any other plummeted from an exclamation point of an unbeaten 2007 regular season to a huge question mark in 2008 after it held on to beat the Kansas City Chiefs 17-10 Sunday.
Brady hurt his left knee when tackled by safety Bernard Pollard midway through the first quarter. He went to the locker room and didn’t return. Matt Cassel, who had thrown only 39 passes as Brady’s backup the past three seasons, took over.

New AP poll just came in and the mighty men of Troy are still at the top. My quick take:
Ranking (1st place) / record / votes
1. USC (33) 1-0 1,577
When you smash a BCS team that goes 9-4 the year before you deserve the top spot
2. Georgia (23) 2-0 1,525
I can’t stand Georgia (went to Georgia Tech) but I think superman has a black #24 jersey
3. Oklahoma (2) 2-0 1,458
4. Florida (4) 2-0 1,438
They got alot of homefield love against Miami but I think they may be the best team in the SEC when it is all over
5. Ohio State (1) 2-0 1,347
This will be the last single digit ranking they see all year…USC 34 OSU 14
6. Missouri (1) 2-0 1,336
7. LSU (1) 1-0 1,231
8. Texas 2-0 1,100
9. Auburn 2-0 1,067
10. Wisconsin 2-0 910
11. Alabama 2-0 865
Ingram is a beast!
12. Texas Tech 2-0 845
13. Kansas 2-0 825
14. East Carolina 2-0 762
They are just showing that rankings mean nothing. They were by far the better team against WVU
15. Arizona State 2-0 744
16. Oregon 2-0 616
17. Penn State 2-0 607
18. Brigham Young 2-0 537
The Mormans are coming, The Mormans are coming
19. South Florida 2-0 493
Very good game against UCF…both programs are really growing and building a fan base
20. Wake Forest 2-0 404
21. Fresno State 1-0 290
22. Utah 2-0 258
The Mormans are coming, The Mormans are coming
23. California 2-0 195
24. Illinois 1-1 164
When I think of Juice Williams I think of someone with a s-curl or hawaiian silky…just sayin’
25. West Virginia 1-1 163
You all just got knocked the ______ out

Good news on the MLK memorial front. Boeing is giving $1 million to the project. I can’t wait for this to be done. FLASHBACK: Anyone remember the frat (Alpha Phi Alpha) selling the bricks…I was so broke back then that I couldn’t even buy one…LOL!!
The Boeing Co. has announced a $1 million donation to help build the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial.
The gift was announced at a unity breakfast at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, the 45th anniversary of the civil rights leader’s “I Have a Dream” speech.
The foundation working to build the memorial on the National Mall in Washington says it has now raised $100 million for the effort. Earlier this month, the group announced it must raise an additional $20 million to complete the project.

I just got done watching UCLA take on Tennessee and win the game in overtime. I have to say that the game was everything you could have asked for…well at least the second half. Both of the teams have stout defenses and produced a touchdown by the D/Special Teams (TN - INT to the house, UCLA - blocked punt).
I was really happy that the PAC-10 came through and beat an SEC team, outside of USC. The SEC is the most overrated, underrated conference in football. Everyone complains that they get no respect but any television/radio sports analyst will say they are the best conference. So when UCLA, who is a upper/middle tier PAC-10 team, can take on and look just as good as an SEC powerhouse it shows that the playing field isn’t that unbalanced. This is “Rocky Top’s” second loss on the West Coast in as many years after taking an L at Cal last year.
