Halo coming to Nintendo and Playstation?

October 6th 2007

I am not addicted to Halo but the game is tight. My online game of choice used to be Socom on the playstation. I would stay up all night playing that game and would drag into work the next day, struggling to stay awake. I still haven’t given up on my PS2 yet but I was real close to getting a 360 a couple of months ago because of the HD and games like Halo.

Anyway, the makers of Halo are breaking away from Microsoft and becoming independent. It will be interesting what will happen in the next few years with the games franchise seeing that it is on pace to out sell both Halo 1 and 2 and it has already created $300 Million in sales.

The option wasn’t effective and they turned into a passing team. Jarrett Brown is a beast on the video game but he left a lot to be desired last Friday (throwing 2 picks). Also, what is the deal with Steve Slaton? His Heisman hopes are all but gone now but I think that Pat White still has a chance if they can run the table and get into a BCS bowl.

That leads to a good question…

Eco-Friendly Plane?

October 1st 2007

I do my share of traveling by plane. But as soon as Delta starts flying these developmental, “eco-planes”, I’m going to give Amtrak a try. I heard taking the train isn’t that bad anyway

Eco-Friendly Plane?

The plane of the future, in Straatsma’s vision, might be as wild as a flying saucer. She and other engineers are toying with lighter materials and some are pondering ideas as radical as returning to propeller-driven planes as an eco-friendly alternative to passenger jets.
